East Street Market

Since the 1880’s, this market has fed the community of all its needs - from fur coats and livestock, to fresh fish and produce. Over time, outsiders have frequently generalised South London as an area of economic and social depravity. Viewed as risky, it’s therefore often dismissed by tourists. However, I don’t believe this will ever affect those who take the time to listen and learn, as both vendors and their favourite regulars will always return without fail.
